Hi there, I am David Lowry. 

I attended a seminar in 2006 on  Christian Entrepreneurism and walked away with two principles that made me think.

The first is that "life begins at the edge of your comfort zone".  I was convicted by this because I have lived most of my life smack dab in the middle of mine.  I can remember times when I got close to the edge of it but very seldom stayed there.  It might have been that I got comfortable enough close to the edge that my comfort zone expanded but I have not ever experienced pushing the limits of mine consistently.

The second  is "money flows to integrity with a purpose".  I agreed with this one immediately because I have seen huge sums of money show up for projects when communicated to the hearts of people. 

This one also made me think because I have been working on the integrity thing for around 30 years but there has never been a purpose that was larger than what I could accomplish that had called out to me.

After the seminar, I started praying that God would show me a purpose that was bigger than anything I could accomplish without His help.  Within a week, it was if he called me up on the phone and said "David, you need to build a retirement community for Americans in Honduras".

Owned landscape business with 5 employees while in High School

1975 Graduated MacArthur High School with plans to become a Houston Police Officer.

Had one year to work before entering Police Academy but was making too much money once old enough to apply
